The Weekly Carrot - Terms & Conditions
Your annual $50 fee for The Weekly Carrot includes:
- One Weekly Carrot card, valid for a year from the date you join
To receive all benefits you must have this card with you on market day. As each card has its own barcode only one card will be issued, and can be used for one person or family. If you forget or lose your card, then a temporary sticker can be provided for the day. If you are unable to find your card, then a $5 fee will be payable for a replacement card.
- Product Bonuses from stallholders every market day
Stallholders will offer product bonuses or discounted price on products to all Weekly Carrot card holders. These will clearly be shown on price signs/ tags.
When entering the Melbourne Showgrounds it usually costs $5 to park. As a Weekly Carrot card holder, you now gett parking FREE. Please make sure you show your membership card and you have your Weekly Shopper car sticker on your car and visible to gate staff when entering the market
- A free calico Flemington Farmers’ Market shopping bag and future merchandise
- Eligibility to enter the weekly draw for a prize
When entering the market your card barcode will be recorded and you will automatically enter our weekly draw. Winners will be drawn during the following week and contacted via phone or email. Weekly prizes will include farmers’ market products, hampers, and dinner vouchers.
The Weekly Carrot newsletter, received via email, updating members on what’s on, what’s in season, special events at the market, Mini Carrot Club activities, etc
- Free participation in The Mini Carrots Club activities each week
Our Mini Carrot Club provides an opportunity for children to have fun while learning about food, farming and produce. In order to join in, you need to register your child’s name at the information tent before 10am. All Mini Carrot Club activities run from 10am to 11am.
Important note: The Flemington Farmers’ Market and The Weekly Carrot are initiatives of the Victorian Farmers’ Markets Association. By purchasing the Weekly Carrot card, you will receive the benefits listed above, but you will not be entitled to full membership of the Victorian Farmers’ Markets Association, nor will you be entitled to voting rights.
